A photographer from the local paper is upgrading his laptop and he wants your advice regarding how he can send his pictures to the news desk effectively from either home (where he has broadband) or on location (maybe through his smartphone). Suggest the technology that can be used and describe how it works.
For the photographer i would suggest getting a 3g dongle. When you plug the device into the laptop you can send emails via it, and upload it to Facebook and twitter etc. He can also send it to his news desk from any were as long as the dongle is plugged in, as long as he has 3g. 3g is a wireless user it picks up signals from any were so you can use the internet unlimitedly.

To use Bluetooth you need to have a phone, laptop, tablet or iPod with built in Bluetooth connection. With this you can send pictures music and videos with out a payment charge. sms (text): To text you need a mobile phone and a phone network like t-mobile, O2 etc. Then find the text app on your phone and write what you want to say to the other person. Then to send the message you will need to type the persons phone number into the top bar so it sends to the person you want to send the message to.

If you are using an IT-based system there are also many parts of the internet which are very unsafe. One of the risks being are hackers. Hackers are people with great IT skills but use them for bad reasons to hack into other peoples computers and accounts and take stuff or change it. Another risk are fakes and pedophiles. Fakes are people that make accounts for them self but change all of the details and talk to other people and try and get them to meet up with you or they get you to give him/her your adress or details, pedophiles are sort of the same thing but they talk to younger kids and try to get them to meet up with him/her and then they will rape or sexually assault you.

having a safe secure password will ensure that nobody can get onto your account and into your files.
logging off properly after you've used a computer makes sure that there is no way for someone else to get onto your account.
select the people you wish to see your profile and set them as authors. This will mean that only they can view your things making your items more safe.
If you clean your internet history regularly it will prevent others going onto the internet history and seeing what you've been on and maybe getting onto it.

i have checked and peer-assessed james kemley's work. this piece of work is p2.
i like the fact that you have used pictures showing what to do. But the work doesn't meet the value of the set work because you have incorrectly spelled the work 'click'. Also you haven't explained or given any information on how you make a g-mail account, you have only uploaded pictures which hardly gives any information. This piece of work could be vastly improved by annotating or writing on how you actually make a g-mail account. There was a mistake on slide 2 where you wrote 'clik' instead of 'click' which shows that you didn't double check your work to see if you had made any mistakes.
